The guys haven't done a show in about a month and are back for an almost 3 hour show!  They start out the show talking about drinking games and why they exist.  That leads into the police and their tactics of making money rather than crime prevention.  They then talk about the NHL and Rich has an idea which he thinks would improve the league and fan experience without effecting the game.  They then talk about meeting Wayne Static and their time at the Static-X concert.  They then debate about the best live drummer touring today which leads into talk about how concert goers today are a bunch of pussies.  Rich then tells the story about how he got backstage passes to see White Zombie and the concert that surrounded that occurrence.  They then talk about movies for a bit, specifically horror movies and Aliens.  They then talk about fights and hanging out with people that like to get into fights.  They wrap up the show talking more about Static-X.  All that and more on this episode of the Drunken Logic Podcast.

The guys sit down and with the NFL uderway talk  at great lengths about the upcoming NFL season, their thoughts on their favorite teams, the San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.  Then go on to make a "pick 6" where they pick 3 teams that they think will make the playoffs and then 3 teams they think will not make the playoffs.  They also make their Super Bowl predictions.  While talking about the NFL they stray off topic more than once to cover a variety of other topics including being invited to someone's place and they don't watch sports and how people don't go out to watch football on Sundays anymore and just stay home.  Why most "sports bar" in this region suck for watching football.  Even some NHL talk makes it way into the conversation.  After they finish up sports they talk about jobs and working for the government.  They then talk about kids today don't appreciate money, working or even going outside to play.  They then talk about what you have to do today to play organized sports and how much you have to pay.  Then they talk about going to college.  They talk about all that and a lot more on a 3 plus hour show.

Here's a fresh posting!  Recorded just last night and posted today...Rich and Darrick are joined by their friend John on this episode.  They start out the show talking about school starting up and how traffic in Fargo begins to become more chaotic. They then have a dispute over the NDSU football schedule that they resolve as to who they play in the upcoming season.  They then switch gears and talk for a little bit about the NFL and the replacement officials.  They then talk about John's new house and they then discuss the process to go through purchasing a house.  They then talk about the resurrection of their fantasy football league.  They briefly touch on politics.  They then talk about the old time gun fights and the wild west.  They then talk about women "football fans" and more NFL talk.  They then talk a bit about iPhones, Smartphones, Apple and Droid.  They then talk about adult stores and a new item Rich thinks should be created to make money at these stores.  They continue with more NFL talk and a bit about their survivor league and commercials during the game.  John and Darrick tell a story about the time John punched Darrick in the stomach at a party.  They then talk about renting movies today.  Rich tells a story about a pail of fireworks they lit off.  They talk about all that and much more.  It's a 3 and a half hour show and we hope you enjoy it!

 The guys are sitting down on a Friday afternoon to have some beers and talk about stuff.  They start out talking about the summer and the upcoming winter season and their thoughts about what they expect from it including their predictions as to when the first snowfall for Fargo, ND will be.  They then talk about slacking at work.  They then talk about the Olympics for a bit.  They then talk about kids and parents and the internet and how some parents allow their children to not do anything.  They continue to talk about parents and kids of today in general as compared to kids and parents from their youth.  Talk naturally segues into tattoos and piercings.  They then switch topics and talk about packing for vacations and then talk about hotels.  After a short break the guys return to talk about texting, phones and some drunken debauchery Darrick undertook and why trying to get a hold of him on his phone is impossible when he is drinking.  Talk about ailments where doctors essentially tell a person to stop drinking is up next.  They then talk about aches, pains, getting old and drinking.  After a short break they come back to talk about work again and how dress code effects Darrick's production at work.They then talk about racism and sexism for a bit. Happy Easter! It's another Thursday Happy Hour edition of the Drunken Logic Podcast. The guys start out the show talking about when company parties use to be a drunken good time but that can longer happen in today's world. They then turn their focus towards hockey.  After talking about college hockey and UND's demise, they then talk NHL and the Sabre's chances at making the playoffs. They then talk about the sports different playoff types and why the NHL playoffs are the best.  They take a shot of tequila and then talk about the Masters and Tiger Woods.  They talk about golfing for this year and mix in talk of premade drinks vs drinks made from scratch.  We talk about the poor service at a particular bar in town.  That leads into appropriate times to start drinking and camping.  Reality shows and gold digging is briefly discussed. We lose our train of thought so shift gears to talk about women logic and how some live vicariously through their young children.  They then talk about the upcoming Clutch show they will be attending.  Then talk of the end of the world and aliens wraps up the show.

It's a Thursday Happy Hour edition of the Drunken Logic podcast and a long one, 4 hours long!  The show starts out with Rich talking about a road trip him and his friend took to see the band Zappy in the early '90's and how the song "Skoal Brothers" is etched in his brain because of it.  That leads into another story about some of the characters the guys use to hang out with.  That leads into a conversation about women and their purses.  We then turn their sites to the weather and weather forecasters and how they try to hype up storms.  Then talk about old time word/phrases and when you have an open microphone and people drinking near them.  We then talk a bit about the heritage of the citizens of North Dakota and that leads into some talk about how people were treated in the past.  They continue on to talk about some of the traditional foods of certain nationalities.  We then play one of our favorite games...pretend you are...this week we pretend we are the ruler of our own country and what our day would be like. We then talk about standardized tests, questions and interviews and getting a job.  Politics enter our conversation and we both have a few things to say about the politicians and politics in general.  Discussion then turns to oil and gas prices.  We then switch gears and talk about drugs which naturally leads right into why some women are better world leaders than others. We then are in full gear as we talk about drinking and being able to (try) and be coherent and able to drink. We discuss the club Darrick is president of, the Warriors Against Sleep.  Then sex and women talk comes to the table and how being married changes that dynamic.  We then talk about thieves and how western North Dakota is ripe turf for criminals and is the new wild, wild west and more oil talk.  We end the show with party time...we talk about a wide range of things including the band Clutch coming to Fargo.

We are back and it's a Sunday afternoon.  We start out talking about the Daytona 500 and NASCAR that was suppose to be taking place as we recorded.  We then go into the snowy weather we have been having and then talk a bit about snowmobiling.  That leads right into activities you can still do and it's socially acceptable to drink during, which then goes into a lengthy discussion about bowling.  We then talk about mini-golf for a bit.  Then we go into steroids which somehow morphs into a discussion about women and their motherly traits.  Then a discussion about homosexuals takes place that covers a wide range of talking points.  Then we talk about beers and primarily micro brewed beers that are "hoppy".  We then talk about credit cards and how a person is lured into tremendous debt.  That leads into a discussion about DirecTV.  We then talk about aliens, crop circles, out space and lots of topics we don't know much about.  We wrap the show up talking about unions in which we have different ideas about.  It is a good time!

Drunken Logic Podcast - Episode II - 021212

This show starts out with us talking about the high tech recording of the Zappy music that we use for our show.  We then quickly move into sports...recapping the Super Bowl, which then leads, of course into the  NHL and then the USHL gets sprinkled in which, naturally, leads right into a complete chronology of the University of North Dakota (UND) Fighting Sioux nickname battle is given and how the state of North Dakota could possibly end up suing the NCAA over the use of the nickname.  Which then leads into talk of the WCHA dissolving and UND joining a new hockey super conference. Lots of non-ice, hockey talk from the top down.  We wrap the show talking about playing sports and people that sandbag in leagues and dis Canada a bit.

We may not get a show up for a couple of weeks but we'll make every effort to get a show up as soon as possible.
