 Don't let the bad audio at the start of the show scare you off!  After a couple weeks off the guys are back drinking together.  It's a Monday(????) afternoon and what better reason do you need to have some beers?  They start out the show recapping Rich's late night where he grilled and roasted marshmallows.  They then explain a bit about the summer recording schedule for the show.  They then have some fishing and some other outdoor stories they share.  They then turn their attention to the zombie apocalypse and also a recent bigfoot sighting.  And they detail their dream "safari" that they will open...zombies, aliens and Sasquatch.  They then talk about how boring baseball is on television but actually a fun even to go to, which is the opposite from football.  They then talk about drinking too much and going to a concert.  They then talk about 80's technology ... corded phones, no remote controls, answering machines.  They then talk about action movies.  Then about action figures and other toys from their youth.  They talk about all that and lots more!

It's Friday night edition of the Drunken Logic Podcast.  Krista, Darrick's girlfriend, joins the guys in the studio.  The show starts out with the guys discussing how potheads seem to have a lot of free time and skill that they devote to building and cleaning pipes. We then go into talking about movies that aren't shown on television often, but are great movies...like the movie Heavy Metal.  We talk about Valentine's Day for a bit. We talk about the crime in the oil patch in western ND and how it is the modern day wild, wild west.  Briefly talk about Whitney Houston, drugs and other celebrities dying.  We talk about old game shows for a bit.  Women not drinking an entire drink at parties.  We talk about guys that want to get into fights. We talk about good house parties of the old day and the various areas that would be occupied by certain types of people.  Simple pleasures that you can no longer do...riding in the back of a pickup, merry-go-rounds.  Crime in Fargo and how armed robberies are on the rise and the police don't seem to care.  We take a break and come back and talk about when you think you are invincible and when you begin to feel the effects of age.  We talk about crappy 80's cars. We talk a bit about the music industry and record albums.  We then talk about karaoke night at bars and the type of people that do that.  That leads right into our thoughts on rock music today and seeing live shows.

There's all that and lots more in close to a 3 hour show!

Drunken Logic Podcast - Episode II - 021212

This show starts out with us talking about the high tech recording of the Zappy music that we use for our show.  We then quickly move into sports...recapping the Super Bowl, which then leads, of course into the  NHL and then the USHL gets sprinkled in which, naturally, leads right into a complete chronology of the University of North Dakota (UND) Fighting Sioux nickname battle is given and how the state of North Dakota could possibly end up suing the NCAA over the use of the nickname.  Which then leads into talk of the WCHA dissolving and UND joining a new hockey super conference. Lots of non-ice, hockey talk from the top down.  We wrap the show talking about playing sports and people that sandbag in leagues and dis Canada a bit.

We may not get a show up for a couple of weeks but we'll make every effort to get a show up as soon as possible.
