The guys sit down and with the NFL uderway talk  at great lengths about the upcoming NFL season, their thoughts on their favorite teams, the San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.  Then go on to make a "pick 6" where they pick 3 teams that they think will make the playoffs and then 3 teams they think will not make the playoffs.  They also make their Super Bowl predictions.  While talking about the NFL they stray off topic more than once to cover a variety of other topics including being invited to someone's place and they don't watch sports and how people don't go out to watch football on Sundays anymore and just stay home.  Why most "sports bar" in this region suck for watching football.  Even some NHL talk makes it way into the conversation.  After they finish up sports they talk about jobs and working for the government.  They then talk about kids today don't appreciate money, working or even going outside to play.  They then talk about what you have to do today to play organized sports and how much you have to pay.  Then they talk about going to college.  They talk about all that and a lot more on a 3 plus hour show.

Drunken Logic Podcast - Episode II - 021212

This show starts out with us talking about the high tech recording of the Zappy music that we use for our show.  We then quickly move into sports...recapping the Super Bowl, which then leads, of course into the  NHL and then the USHL gets sprinkled in which, naturally, leads right into a complete chronology of the University of North Dakota (UND) Fighting Sioux nickname battle is given and how the state of North Dakota could possibly end up suing the NCAA over the use of the nickname.  Which then leads into talk of the WCHA dissolving and UND joining a new hockey super conference. Lots of non-ice, hockey talk from the top down.  We wrap the show talking about playing sports and people that sandbag in leagues and dis Canada a bit.

We may not get a show up for a couple of weeks but we'll make every effort to get a show up as soon as possible.

Welcome to our new web site and the (somewhat) first episode of Drunken Logic!  Rich and Darrick are your hosts and are joined by their friend John and also, later in the show, Dane.  On this episode, while they are drinking, they first recap Darrick's ill's and new job then focus on the NFL, recap their picks against the spread and make their NFL picks for the upcoming weekend.  Of course disappointing talk about the Chargers and Bills and their recent woes is discussed.  After that, the guys continue to talk about a convenience store in Bismarck, ND for some time...why, I guess why not?
